The spacious front yard of this house is perfect for hanging a hammock or throwing a lacrosse ball.

And take a look back to see the house with housemates from 1992-93.

The ladies use their large entryway to store shoes and coats.Above the fireplace is a collage with the house’s nickname: “The Dollhouse.”The roommates found the back kitchen table on a curb. Although it’s wobbly, they personalized it with quotes.Although the house came with one fridge, the roommates brought in three additional mini-fridges. “We like our food,” one of them said.Even without a shower, this extra bathroom downstairs comes in handy for the six women in the house. One of the upstairs bedrooms is so small that the roommates had to arrange their beds one on top of the other so the door would close. This tiny spare room serves as a closet for the roommates with the smallest bedroom. The front bedroom comes with a spacious walk-in closet and a severely tilted floor.Patterned bedsheets and photos brighten up the room of these two student teachers. The sink in the upstairs bathroom was already loose when a visitor bumped into it, causing it to fall out of the wall. The roommates are waiting for a maintenance worker to stop by and fix it.The girls spend a lot of time on their neighbors’ brand new back deck, which takes up most of their yard.

One Response to My Old House: 236 College Park

I lived at 429 College Park in 06-07 and one of my close friends lived here. During Christmastime we strung up Christmas lights from our house to theirs, through our bathroom and several tosses. Great house!
