Students in the FORUM for Young Catechetical Leaders and the FORUM for Young Catholic Hispanic Leaders signed a card for Pope Benedict XVI during their regular Saturday class on Feb. 23 in the Marianist Hall Chapel.
“The card formalizes our support and prayers for the Holy Father. We also declared a UD Day of Prayer in gratitude for the pope and for the upcoming conclave,” explained Sister Angela Ann Zukowksi, MHSH, D.Min, religious studies professor and director of the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives.
The card was mailed to the Vatican on Feb. 25.
