Sunny blue skies, 16 degrees, and a frosty white Central Mall greeted faculty and students entering the Science Center this morning as they passed under the always swaying pendulum in Sherman Hall.

  • UD’s Environmental Health and Safety Department conducted the annual fire pump testing at the CPC. This is to ensure the building’s water pump has the pressure it needs to get water to the sprinklers.  Here, Darren Lyons of Simplex Grinnell, the assisting contractor, checks the readings on the pressure gauges as he observes the water flow during the test.
