As the home of the Flyers, we like to watch things that fly. Airplanes, drones, and helicopters fly over us every day. Sometimes we hear the loud piercing scream of a hawk, soaring with large wings, riding an updraft. ODNR says, a hawk is a raptor that is beneficial to people, because it eats mice, insects, and carrion. It is also illegal to kill them. This hawk takes flight from a
pole on Frericks Way heading toward Baujan Field.
