Move-In 2012

Move-in 2012

11:22 AM  Aug 8th, 2012
by Shannon Shelton Miller

The fall semester begins Wednesday, Aug. 22. In preparation for the first day of classes, here’s a guide to what faculty and staff can expect on campus over the next few weeks.

Early drop-off/move-in will take place Aug. 11-13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the street closure between Stewart and Caldwell will be in effect through Wednesday, Aug. 15. With that closure and overall construction on Brown Street continuing through November, consider alternate routes to campus to avoid heavier traffic and delays during this time.

Most students will move in Saturday, Aug. 18 from 7 a.m. to noon. Activities for parents and other family members take place all day Saturday and conclude with a Sunday Mass and reception Aug. 19.

A full schedule of events, along with news and updates for students and parents can be found at http://www.udayton.edu/studev/newstudentprograms/index.php#2.
