Chapel construction continues on the roof by Larry Burgess

Chapel construction workers are at roof level today removing roofing materials in sunny 78-degree weather, lower humidity, and hardly any wind at all. Our clear as a bell blue sky reaches out to Iowa before it sees rain.

  • UD’s Environmental Health and Safety Department conducted the annual fire pump testing at the CPC. This is to ensure the building’s water pump has the pressure it needs to get water to the sprinklers.  Here, Darren Lyons of Simplex Grinnell, the assisting contractor, checks the readings on the pressure gauges as he observes the water flow during the test.
